Profile of Sri. B.S. Paramashivaiah, President K.V.V.S. Bangalore

Sri. B. S. Paramashivaiah is a multi-faceted personality who contributed immensely to the welfare of the people of Karnataka, in the fields of Agriculture, Education, Social and co-operative organizations and politics through his dedicated and devoted commitment to the society and work.

Career and Professional Accomplishments

Agriculture: A progressive Farmer cultivating paddy, Ragi, Banana and Horticulture crops.

Co-operative Field:

Ø  In 1975-76 he entered co-operative movement as a Director of Veerashaiva co-operative Society Ltd., (Central Wholesale Stores). Since then working in various capacities in the co-operative movement. Presently serving as President of Veerashaiva Co-operative Bank Ltd. Bangalore.

Ø   He is a key member in Karnataka Veerashaiva Vidyabhivrudhi Samsthe in various capacities since 1975. 

·          The samsthe is located at No.18, Sheshadri Road, Gandhinagar, Bangalore-560 009 in the multi-storeyed complex known as S.J.M. Tower. This complex was built after he took over as the President and is now fetching more than Rs. 7.2 crores per year for the Samaja. 

·          Since 1995, the Karnataka Veerashaiva vidyabhivrudhi Samsthe is running 3 free boarding and lodging hostels. One hostel for boys with 1200 students and 2 hostels for girls accommodating 300 students, studying in various courses.
